General Questions

Which system best suits my needs?
This very much depends on the number of staff that you deploy to any given site. Large numbers of staff arriving at similar times of day need to be able to clock in without waiting. ScanLogik allows a clock in or out every second and can cope with literally hundreds of staff arriving and leaving every day.

If your sites are visited by a smaller number of staff then the extremely flexible and cost effective FoneLogik is possibly the best option for you. This can be implemented at a site in a matter of minutes and allows for a very swift roll out.

If you have lone-workers who are visiting many sites or you wish to track staff as they travel between sites then a TracLogik tracking unit is the perfect solution for you.

It may be that you have a mix of sites that require more than one, or even all three solutions. A key benefit of TimeAttend is the fact that FoneLogik, ScanLogik and TracLogik can all work alongside each other seamlessly.

Why not give us a call to discuss your requirements further and we can guide you towards the best solution.

Does TimeAttend offer payroll information?
TimeAttend allows you to set complex shift patterns and attach different wages to each shift. Payroll reports are then created at the click of a button to show hours worked, wages earned and any disciplinary issues related to attendance.

You can even export these reports as spreadsheets (CSV files) to import into your accounting software.

Does TimeAttend produce time sheets?
TimeAttend produces detailed timesheets which can be printed or exported as CSV files or Excel spreadsheets.

Can anyone use TimeAttend or do we need a technical expert?
Anybody can use TimeAttend and no technical know-how is required. Its core principles are simplicity of use and simplicity of implementation.

How up to date is the information given?
TimeAttend gives "real-time" information. Staff clocking in/out are reported and visible on the TimeAttend Cloud within seconds of the clocking transaction occurring.

How many staff can TimeAttend support?
The system can support just a few, or literally thousands of staff, at any one site and many thousands of sites with any one customer.

Can I set up work schedules for my staff?
Complex roster templates can be created and applied to groups of staff or sites with a wide range of parameters. For example shift start, shift end, lunch breaks, hours required, wages due, sick leave, annual leave, maternity and paternity leave can all be handled.

How flexible is the reporting?
Reports can be created on individuals, groups, sites or regions by week, month or between any two dates of your choosing.

Completely bespoke reports can also be created specifically for your company’s requirements and loaded into your interface for future use.

Do we need a server or special PC?
Any PC, Laptop mobile phone or PDA that can access the Internet can access the TimeAttend Cloud 24/7 from anywhere in the world.

Does the system include help and user support?
A fully comprehensive maintenance and support contract is included in the price of each system to ensure peace of mind.

Will TimeAttend integrate with our existing accounts and payroll systems?
Any reports created by the system can be exported as CSV files for onward importing into any existing accounts or payroll system. TimeAttend can also be tailored to integrate seamlessly and automatically into your organisation’s existing business management software, such as SAP.

How quickly can TimeAttend be set up?
Very quickly indeed. ScanLogik wall units are active onsite within 2 minutes and the FoneLogik system can be rolled out in just a matter of seconds. All staff need to do is phone the FoneLogik number and enter their pin codes to start recording attendance.

How cost effective it TimeAttend?
TimeAttend offers huge savings in management time, reducing staff expenditure and by increasing productivity.

We would be more than happy to run through some figures with you to show how TimeAttend can benefit your own particular situation.

Can TimeAttend alert me if someone fails to arrive or leave?
TimeAttend can alert you or your management team to any failures to depart or arrive via SMS (text message) or email. This is ideal for managing Lone Workers’ safety.

FoneLogik Questions

Who pays for the phone calls?
This is entirely up to you. You can use an 0800 FoneLogik number which is free at each site and includes the call costs in your monthly pricing.

Alternatively you can use an 0845 FoneLogik number which is cheaper for you as the cost of the call goes to whomever owns the phone.

What happens if a phone isn’t available?
If a phone isn’t available ScanLogik is the perfect alternative.

What happens if the phone number is withheld?
If the phone number is withheld staff will be automatically prompted to enter a unique ID at each site to prove attendance.

What happens if the staff forget their pin code?
If staff forget their pin a reminder is permanently stored on the TimeAttend Cloud so that you can advise them accordingly. If they have failed to clock in or out because they forgot then an authorised member of staff can also manually add clocks via the Cloud.

ScanLogik Questions

Our ScanLogik units can use any of the major mobile network providers to communicate with the TimeAttend Cloud.

In the event that a signal is extremely weak, Booster units can be utilised to boost the power of any ScanLogik device.

What happens if the staff forget/loose their ScanLogik key fobs?
If staff forget or loose their key fobs, new fobs can be issued immediately via the TimeAttend Cloud. If they have failed to clock in or out because they forgot then an authorised member of staff can also manually add clocks via the Cloud.

What happens in the event of a power cut?
ScanLogik units can carry onboard battery backup to cope with onsite power outages. The power status is also displayed on the reporting interface for easy diagnosis of any issues.

What happens if the mobile network fails?
ScanLogik units carry onboard memory buffers to record any attendance while signal is low. As soon as signal strength is returned the information is synchronised with the TimeAttend Cloud.

TracLogik Questions

How big is the Tracking unit?
The TracLogik unit is extremely small, measuring 66mm x 36mm x 20mm, and weighing in at only 76g.

How long does the battery last?
This depends on how often you want your tracking unit to report its location, something that you can control via the TimeAttend Cloud. Average battery life is around 4-7 days. If the unit is switched on but in standby mode then you can expect around 160 hours.

Can I hardwire the tracker to a vehicle so it doesn't need to be charged?
Yes absolutely. We can supply you with a hardwiring kit to carry out this simple job.

How do I see where the unit is and where it's been?
All you need to do in order to view and control your tracker is visit the TimeAttend Cloud website. You simply log in and start tracking.

How do I get started?
To get started, simply purchase a tracking unit and a suitable TracPlan to give you access to the TimeAttend Cloud tracking panel.

Which TracPlan is best for me?
TracPlans are based on the number of locations reported by your tracker or trackers in any one month. You can control the number of positions sent using the TimeAttend Cloud. If you want to track something every minute of every day you will need a larger TracPlan than if you are simply tracking in the event of an emergency, for example the theft of your vehicle.

Is it weatherproof?
Yes the TracLogik unit is designed to cope with extreme weather and is water resistant to IPX6 standard.

How do I charge it?
All TracLogik units come with a free mains charger. We also supply 'Hard-Wire' kits so that you can wire any TracLogik unit into a vehicle's power system for permanent, always-on tracking.
